System fan, since u dislike inscribable drops most.
I'm guessing u spent most of your time in Cantha. I'm just curious, do you do the Boreas Seabed run the most often? The RIng of Fire thing in Proph just doesn't seem worth it to me.

Actually nowadays i dont chestrun a lot anymore =)
But earlier I did Xaquang Skyway and Pongmei Vally Runs most often...
Boreas Seabed I didnt ran that much but I promise it's a cool run^^

in nahpui quarter (explorable) there are no chests that drop celestial staves afaik^^
there are only am fah and jade brotherhood i think....
but even if there are few chests that could drop celestial stuff...

for celestial stuff xaquang skyway run 100% is the best choice (imo)....

is it possible to chest run for zodiac weapons in the elite missions?

hehe i wanted to chestrun for zodiac's too earlier^^
but its impossible... at least "normal" chestruns like anywhere else are impossible =)

In the Deep... you have to kill the Kanaxai's Aspect's to open the gates to other rooms... And in the first room there usually is no chest (at least i never had one in ~30 tries)

In Urgoz... you have to kill those Guardian Serpents to open gates...
And like in the Deep there usually is no chest in first room. (i had 1 chest in ~15-20 tries)...

If you want Zodiac's.... better just do fast runs with an exp team. might take ~30minutes for deep. will give you 2 inscribable drops from end chest, like 1-3 gold-drops from monsters and usually 4-7 chests to open =)

I found a map for the Boreas Seabed run, only the chest ON the bridge is quite hard to get back from, I'ma try some shadowstep, that should work.
I didn't find any maps for Xaquang Skyway and Pongmei Vally run yet tho, I KNOW they should be on here somewhere. I'm kinda new so I don't know where yet

tyvm, that saves me a lot of time. It sure beats looking for all possible chest spawns myself.

edit: darn, the halcoyn job is completed on all my charswho have cavalon
edit2: Got this quest on my warrior, please tell me this is doable on a war ^^.
The skyway run seems quite long if you do the full run, because you have to back-track and continue another way.

i find it easier to just do the run where u venture off to the left, zone, and run back through. I am only looking for celestial staves and scepters so it is pointless to run through the brotherhood in my case at least.

@Minimized:

You don't have to run back... you die at the end of the left side. and get rezzed at the middle of the run. OR if you only want celestial stuff... just do the left part.
the right side of the run doesnt drop celestial stuff anyway (expect a chest that can spawn near the mantid boss)...

@Natures:
True... Zoning and rerunning to senjis works good too. Tryed that too earlier...
but form my experience its faster to /resign and start again from senjis....

Req7max from chest = not possible (anymore) IMO
Req8max from chest = try NM chestruns in Maguuma Jungle.. (check the req8 thread in traders outpost...there's a chestrun posted, that might drop req8's)...

Port Sledge is indeed the best chest run ever if you want to get lucky/unlucky/chest hunter titles the fastest possible, lol.
Almost all the runs I opened 3 chests in 1-2 minutes and only like 2 in 10 runs I took 3 minutes to get the 3 chests in the area

Chestrunning in NM till i got r4 lucky (only 27K to go).
Any advices? Boreal is getting pretty boring, and I want to try those chestruns system fan posted here.
Brought my derv to cavalon/zos shivros btw, any running build for that? VoS maybe?

Started chestrunning in HM.
So far Boreal, Gunnar, Gyala done and ok.
I'm having trouble staying alive in Pongmei Valley tho.
Build:
Deadly paradox, SF, condit remove, shadow of hasta, dwarven stability, half dmg 25%run skill, dash, kurz regen and armor skill.

Any improvements suggested? anything rly even a totally diff build/class
